He penned or recorded many of the most recognised songs in rock history - Summertime Blues, Nervous Breakdown, Somethin Else, CMon Everybody, Twenty Flight Rock and Sittin in the Balcony. Co-authored by Cochrans nephew, also a gifted musician - this is the first official biography of this uniquely American rock legend, who was among the first to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The book is a detailed portrait of Cochrans personal and professional triumphs, with fascinatin insight into the rock pioneers life that only a family member can provide.

Bobby Cochran is an award-winning producer and guitarist whos worked with Steppenwolf, the Flying Burrito Brothers, Leon Russell, the Grateful Deads Bob Weir and Adrian Legg. He lives in Fairview, TN, near Nashville.
