From farm ponds to the Amazon, Lefty Krehs wit and wisdom is captured in 101 stories about his most memorable fly-caught fish, vibrantly illustrated by artist Bill Bishop. Includes Leftys favorite flies and natural history facts for each species: tarpon, brown trout, catfish, lemon shark, king salmon, and many more.

The late Lefty Kreh was an outdoor writer for more than 50 years and was named "Angler of the Year" by Fly Rod and Reel magazine in 1997. He fished with newsman Tom Brokaw, Yvon Chouinard (founder of Patagonia), and actor Michael Keaton on the Outdoor Channels Buccaneers & Bones. He wrote for nearly every major outdoor magazine and authored more than 20 books.

Bill Bishop is on the water over 150 days a year, fishing the waters of Boca Grande and Homosassa. His illustrations and artwork have appeared in several fly-fishing books and magazines. He lives in Orlando and Boca Grande, Florida.
