Eduwardo Engel is a professor of Economics at Yale University. Roberto Rigobon is currently the Society of Sloan Fellows Professor of Applied Economics at the Sloan School of Management, MIT; a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research; and a visiting professor at IESA. Francisco Ferreira is the Deputy Regional Chief Economist for Latin America and the Caribbean at the World Bank. He has published widely in the fields of poverty, inequality, and the political economy of development, with a focus on Latin America.
