Tristan Hill was born in New Zealand and immigrated to Australia when he was 22 years old. In 2012, he completed a Masters in Sports Coaching from the University of Queensland. This qualification complements over 15 years’ experience he has in both the sports and fitness industries as a personal trainer, personal trainer manager, lecturer and presenter. Tristan’s interest in personal training and the fitness industry first developed result of his involvement in athletics, particularly his success at national level as a junior decathlete. He then moved onto rugby union and played at national level for many years, finishing up his rugby career by playing professionally in Europe. In 2010, Tristan tried his hand at powerlifting and again achieved success at national level by placing second in his weight division. These days, Tristan is trying to find time in his busy schedule, while running his successful personal training business and spending time with his young family, to actively return to his true passion and get involved in athletics again.
