Allison Cotton is professor of criminology and criminal justice at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is author of the book Effigy: Images of Capital Defendants. Carrie Buist is associate professor of criminology, criminal justice, and legal studies at Grand Valley State University. She is the author of Queer Criminology (Routledge 2016). K.
