Paul's candid and personal account of his social media experience is refreshing and enlightening. Change the World Using Social Media is one of the most practical books you can read to learn the effect social media can have in all you do. Paul is a well-informed and experienced author who tells it like it is. -- Elaine Biech, author of The New Business of Consulting Paul Signorelli is an expert in learning and collaboration, which makes him the perfect person to write about the power of social media to affect change. His approach of blending personal stories from a variety of people across different sectors with practical 'just-the-facts', information about different social media and communication platforms elevates this work from being merely useful to being truly engaging. Social media mavens and relative newbies alike will learn new skills, but will also come away nourished and inspired to explore new ways of changing the world. -- Peter Bromberg, Executive Director, Salt Lake City Public Library Signorelli's real life examples of using social media to change the world reminds us all that each one of us can be a part of the solution. I love that Paul and I have this in common and I'm honoured to be featured in the book in "Blogging For Social Change", which really sums up what I stand for. Reading it, I felt empowered and wish that this book was around when I first started my journey into activism. I highly recommend this book ready to take action for a better world. -- Hannah Alper, author, Momentus: Small Acts, Big Change This enlightening new book offers an in-depth guide to social media - from Facebook and Instagram to Snapchat, LinkedIn, and GoFundMe - through the lens of activism and social change. In a world where social media platforms are increasingly dark and divisive, Signorelli illuminates a clear path for those hoping to leverage the tremendous powers of online networks to make a positive change in the world. Chock-full of insights gleaned from personal experience, Signorelli's book is a must-read in today's complex and challenging digital reality. -- Alec Couros, Professor of Educational Technology and Media, University of Regina
