Frederick Borsch was bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles from 1988 to 2002. He has served as a parish priest and has taught at Princeton, Yale Divinity School, and Seabury-Western Seminary. The author or editor of 17 books, Borsch is presently professor of new testament and chair of Anglican studies at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
With his formidable intellect Frederick Borsch has a remarkable knack for making things that are abstruse and difficult seem suddenly so comprehensible.
