Public Communication in the Time of Covid-19 brings together the work of leading scholars in the Communication discipline to understand how the pandemic strained communication practices across a variety of social contexts. Explaining the uncertainty and anxiety caused by the Covid-19 virus from a communication perspective, the chapters offer a wide-ranging set of theories and concepts for teaching and research, and in doing so, strengthens our intellectual, emotional, and social capacities to endure the strains of living under a pandemic.
