This far-ranging volume discusses numerous security issues across Eurasia. With a focus on Turkish foreign policy, which has been active in the Balkans, the Middle East, the Caucuses, and Central Asia, this work usefully illustrates the importance of Turkey as a "rising power" and how various contemporary developments create possibilities for both conflict and cooperation among global and regional powers. -- Paul Kubicek, Oakland University
