• Third Carcanet collection from award-winning Glasgow-based poet and novelist • Winner of the 2013 Michael Murphy Memorial Prize and a 2013 Eric Gregory Award • Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of St Andrews • Collection consists of three formally adventurous long poems, which draw on our physical and virtual environments to reflect on art, masculinity and family • Hazzard is influenced by the American poet John Ashbery and has a comparably omnivorous appetite for all kinds of language in these philosophical, wide-ranging, often very funny poems
