Author:

Lyndall Goff’s abundance of experience and education has provided her a unique outlook as a children’s author.

Growing up, Lyndall knew what it was like to be different, overcoming challenges in her childhood, including dyslexia and ADHD.

Being told she wouldn’t amount to anything eventually spurred her on, and in her late teenage years and into early adulthood she discovered the value of education, studying a Bachelor of Nursing, a Masters of Nursing Education, Bachelor of Psychology and is now undertaking a Masters of Psychology.

Finding her creative streak later in life, Lyndall drew on the loneliness she felt as a child to begin creating stories that would help children understand their place in the world. Her books, including her first to be released in November 2020, Duckdog, is the type of book she needed as a child, to give comfort that it is okay to be unique.

Today, as Lyndall pursues a career as a children’s author, working with illustrative partner, Naya Lazareva, she continues her profession as a nurse, marriage celebrant, and works in the mental health space while she completes her studies to enable her to work as a Psychologist on Sydneys northern beaches, New South Wales.

Illustrator:
As a child, Naya decided to become an illustrator of children’s books. She graduated in Book Illustration, from the Printing and Publishing department at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. She predominantly uses watercolor and pencils. Her favourite genre to illustrate is Fantasy. She aims to shape people’s perception of the world from a very young age, and wants her stories and drawings to make people smile. In her spare time, Naya teaches children to use their imagination while creating their first pictures. She currently lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine. Her website is www.nayasart.com, Instagram @bookwood_illustration and Facebook @bookwood.art.
