A Winter’s Kiss is a whimsical journey through the seasons, as experienced by a child for the first time. Travel the wonders of nature through winter, spring, summer and autumn with this beautifully illustrated picture book.

Author: Heidi is an author, educator, skier, explorer, and lover of the outdoors. Whilst raising four children, and teaching primary school, she has penned several colourful stories. A Winter’s Kiss is Heidi’s first published picture story book, inspired by her snowy-mountains childhood. These days Heidi and her family split their time between Melbourne and Mt Buller. When not working and writing, she enjoys mountain picnics, river swims, sand between her toes and skis on fresh snow. 

Illustrator: As a child, Naya decided to become an illustrator of children’s books. She graduated in Book Illustration, from the Printing and Publishing department at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. She predominantly uses watercolor and pencils. Her favourite genre to illustrate is Fantasy. She aims to shape people’s perception of the world from a very young age, and wants her stories and drawings to make people smile. In her spare time, Naya teaches children to use their imagination while creating their first pictures. Due to the war she has moved from Kiev, Ukraine to Berlin, Germany.
