What would it feel like to run onto the MCG shoulder to shoulder with your footy heroes? How would it feel to have the crowd screaming your name as you kick the goal that wins the Granny? Every young footy player dreams of becoming an AFL star and taking their spot in the Grand Final. This delightful book will take you to the heart of an actionpacked game and give you a taste of the highs and lows of professional sport as your team tackles the biggest game of the footy calendar.

Author: Caroline von Bibra worked as a journalist for Channel Nine and NBN News before swapping her microphone to take up a fulltime position making lunch boxes and taxiing her four children to their activities. She now juggles watching ballet eisteddfods and AFL games with her passion for writing, often finding inspiration in her little ones’ imaginative play. When she’s not putting pen to paper, you’ll find her perfecting her pirouettes at an adult ballet class or trying to dodge defence in Division 8 of her local social netball league. Illustrator: Vanessa Fernandes is based in Perth, Western Australia. With over 20 years in the design industry, she is passionate about all forms of art, including illustrations, paintings and digital art. Working from her home studio in Perth’s northern suburbs, she is a designer, illustrator, wife and mother to two teenagers and two smelly pugs.
