A memoir, a love story, a story of loss, grief, and hope. When Anthony Sobb’s wife, Kim, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, they chose not to surrender to the diagnosis but to do everything they could to fight it and to live life to the fullest extent possible. My Business is Now North tells Anthony’s journey through the challenges of a devastating diagnosis, pushing boundaries, and surviving the abyss after losing the love of his life. Left with three children to nurture and cherish, Anthonys story shows what is possible even in the face of profound adversity and grief.

A dedicated family man, former pugilist/martial artist, and current surf lifesaver and jet ski rescue volunteer, Anthony is the CEO of a large Sydney-based RSL club. Encouraged during his school years, Anthony has a passion for food, wine and bringing people together that set him on a diverse career journey through Sydney’s food scene before moving into the club industry in 2000. A voracious traveller and consumer, he’s still exploring new tastes, flavours and atmospheres to bring to his clientele. In recent years, he has been focused on supporting his three sons and holding his family close following the loss of his wife, Kim. Now, after shutting out the world for over a decade, Anthony is ready to share his story.

* A tear-jerker that starts with the death of Kim - a solicitor with the DPP - on the floor of Mexico City Airport, and recounts the journey from her diagnosis, their efforts to fight it, death, and holding the family together.
* Very seldom get books of this genre written from a male perspective.
* Author wants to highlight the growing incidence of lung cancer amongst non-smokers.
