He's collaborated with experts on military history and even participated in WWI reenactments, experiencing trench-life firsthand. Winkowski is a publishing professional. Born in Cohoes, NY, he splits his time between New York, NY and Seattle, WA. Dr. Stephen Bull is currently Curator of Military History and Archaeology at Lancashire County Museums in the UK. His television and radio appearances include Battlefield Detectives," along with numerous news and current affairs productions. He has also made a number of short films for museum and gallery use, and exhibitions curated include Images of the American West" and Battle of the Somme."
