Description
"Rippe has selected 300-plus essays, written by 250 contributors, on ways in which daily habits affect health and quality of life. The result is a robust, credible reference about the application of environmental, behavioral, medical, and motivational principles to the management of lifestyle-related health problems. Entries have enough detail to make them understandable, and contributors clearly followed the format of definition/history, explanation, development/details, and examples. The language is appropriately technical, but approachable by undergraduates." -- Choice * Choice * This is a significant and important reference for healthcare professionals... every doctors surgery should have one of these, [and] it would also be a useful adjunct on the family bookshelf. -- Stephen Bray * Nurturing Potential *
