Adrian Flavell’s poetry has appeared in a number of magazines journals and newspapers. In the early 1970s he founded and edited the poetry magazine Fields. His first collection of poems on drowning a rat (Picaro Press/Ginninderra Press) was published in 2015. His written work includes environmental educational material scripts for TV’s Here’s Humphrey and a series of children’s books Dan’s Days – Dan aged 7 9 and 11½ (Clean Slate Press NZ). shadows drag untidy is his second collection of poems.
