Adrian Flavell lives and writes in the Adelaide Hills South Australia. He has written scripts for children’s television and environmental education material for the Keep Australia Beautiful Council. His series of three children’s books Dans Days originally published by McGraw-Hill is currently published by Clean Slate Press (NZ). His poetry has appeared in a number of magazines journals and newspapers in Australia and New Zealand. on drowning a rat is his ûrst collection of poems.
