Douglas Ridley was born in Worcester but moved to the USA at the age of 5. He spent some of his childhood in California and some in rural Norfolk, England. Douglas has lived a big part of his adult life in London, working in varied positions, including Finance Director (current). When not balancing the books, Douglas likes nothing more than playing tour-guide to visiting friends from all over the world. Although he is used to London’s many foibles, Douglas is still surprised by the sheer diversity of the city he calls home.Joseph Lazaroo hails from Singapore. He has lived in London for many years, but recalls vividly what it felt like to be a stranger in a strange land. An estate agent by profession, Joseph loves to help people find their perfect home. A keen photographer, cinephile and excellent curry-chef, Joseph’s love of London has much to do with the extraordinary variety of foods available. His idea of a perfect Saturday involves Billingsgate Fish Market at the crack of dawn, followed by a leisurely browse through Borough Market.
