James E. Leone, Ph.D., M.P.H, M.S. is an educator, researcher, and public health professional whose career spans more than 24 years in settings ranging from higher education to clinical medicine. He holds a Ph.D. in public health education with focus on behavioral health and policy, an M.P.H. in urban public health studies, and an M.S. in sports medicine. Committed to advancing social justice and with a mission to promote equitable health outcomes for all, Dr. Leone focuses on the social determinants of health and works to highlight and address inequities through writing, presenting, and policy advocacy.
