[A] wide-ranging work which grounds the experiences of African refugees as the basis for a much larger look at African countries and international relations and responsibilities. - J. E. Weaver, emerita, Drake University (Choice) This engaging book is written in a style that is accessible and I recommend it to anyone interested in understanding refugee issues in Africa. It is relevant to both students and scholars of forced migration as well as practitioners. (Journal of Refugee Studies)
