This work of systematic theology has a dual purpose: to offer a fresh interpretation of Thomas Aquinas on the nature of theology; and to explore theological affinities between Aquinas and Protestant theologian, Karl Barth. It examines Summa Theologiae and Paul's Epistle to the Romans.
