Dave Anderson has been an outdoor guide for twenty-five years, leading everything from natural history treks to backpacking, rock-climbing, and whitewater rafting expeditions. He is also a senior instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School. A longtime photographer and writer, he has published his work in National Geographic, the New York Times, and Sports Illustrated, as well as several books for Globe Pequot Press/FalconGuides.
