Clyde Soles is the author of ten books, including Climbing: Training For Peak Performance and The Outdoor Knots Book. He founded Trail Runner magazine, and his articles and photographs have appeared in Outside, Backpacker, Rock & Ice, and other publications. He lives with his wife in the foothills of Boulder, Colorado.
