Canon R. A. Ward "Dr. Morris has established a tradition, and it is here maintained: evidence of wide reading, mastery of the sources, the exercise of an independent, critical judgment, courtesy and fairness towards all. Apocalyptic sets out the main points clearly, and will be a great help -- especially to young seminarians." S. A. Cartledge --Columbia Theological Seminary "This little book will take its place as a truly significant contribution to New Testament scholarship. Morris uses well the literature in the field. He writes in a simple, plain style. He deals fairly with points of view that he does not accept."
