Elliott is senior lecturer in church history at the University of St. Andrews. Grant Macaskill is Lightfoot Professor of Divinity at Durham University. His books include Living in Union with Christ, Autism and the Church, and The New Testament and Intellectual Humility. He has won major research awards from the Leverhulme Trust, the Kirby Laing Trust, and the British Academy.
