Shelby L. Stanton was the author of more than a dozen books, including Vietnam Order of Battle, The Green Berets at War, Anatomy of a Division, and U.S. Army Uniforms of World War II. Russell F. Weigley was Distinguished University Professor of History at Temple University. He was the author of The American Way of War and Eisenhower's Lieutenants, among other influential books.
