Jean-Pierre Barricelli was Professor of Humanities and Comparative Literature at the University of California, Riverside. His scholarly achievements included 17 books and over 100 articles which ranged over such topics as the Italian greats Leopardi and Dante, as well as the interrelationships between literature, music, drama, and law. Joseph Gibaldi's books include Approaches to Teaching Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1980), Introduction to Scholarship in Modern Languages and Literatures (1992, 2ndedition), and MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (2003, 6thedition). Estella Lauter is Professor Emerita at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Her publications include Women as Mythmakers: Poetry and Visual Art by Twentieth-Century Women and The Essential Rudder: North Channel Poems. Her poems have appeared in Peninsula Pulse, Free Verse, Verse Wisconsin, Wisconsin People and Ideas, and several anthologies.
