Amy Morse is a national leader in designing and providing professional development for math coaches and district leaders responsible for coaching programs. In 1997, Amy joined Education Development Center where, as a project director, she works on teacher and coach development programs. In this capacity she worked for many years with the Boston Public Schools (BPS) Elementary Math Department to design and facilitate the professional development for the district's elementary math coaches. At present, she directs Professional Development for Math Coaching institutes for EDC's Math Leadership program http://www.edc.org/MLP. Amy travels extensively, working as a consultant to school districts in various stages of implementing a math coaching strategy and is the director of the Center for the Professional Development of Coaching and Math Leadership at EDC.
