This video program features a discussion of the definition of core beliefs and how they underlie automatic thoughts. This is followed by clips demonstrating ways to clarify and change unproductive or unhealthy core values that the client may hold. Finally, the expert therapists examine acceptance techniques for when life circumstances cannot be changed. Following each demonstration clip, the three experts explore the context and background of the techniques shown and discuss variations on how they might be used.
