Understanding the Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Youth

Cindy received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Washington State University and is currently Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Pepperdine University. Her research areas include child-clinical psychology, development, and medical/health psychology. She has widely published in the areas of child sexual abuse, prevention, and physiological psychology. She is the Treasurer. APA Division 37, Section on Child Maltreatment, 2000-2003.She and Robin Perrin co-authored Child Maltreatment:An Introduction (Sage, 1999) and with S. Wurtele co-authored Preventing Child Sexual Abuse: Sharing the Responsibility (U. of Nebraska Press, 1992).
