Andrea R. Roberts is an associate professor of urban and environmental planning at the University of Virginia, where she is also the director of the Center for Cultural Landscapes. She received a PhD in community and regional planning from the University of Texas at Austin and created The Texas Freedom Colonies Project Atlas and Study.
