Erina Duganne is a professor of art history at Texas State University. She is the author of The Self in Black and White: Race and Subjectivity in Postwar American Photography, coauthor of Global Photography: A Critical History, and coeditor of Cold War Camera. Duganne's writing has appeared in The Art Bulletin, Photography & Culture, Latin American and Latinx Visual Culture, photographies, and English Language Notes.
