E. Luther Copeland is a retired missionary and professor of missions. He served as a missionary in Japan from 1948-1956 and again from 1975-1981. He spent over twenty years as Professor of Christian Mission and World Religions at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Copeland and his wife, Louise, currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.
