Bill Schneider has spent forty years hiking trails all across America. He has written twenty books and hundreds of magazine articles on wildlife, outdoor recreation, and conservation issues. Bill lives in Helena, Montana. Russ Schneider grew up hiking the wilds of the West. As a veteran hiker, guide, and author, Russ loves showing people the land.
