Emma Walker grew up in the Rockies, then moved to Alaska in search of adventure. She currently lives in Golden, Colorado with her loyal dog, Bodhi. A Wilderness First Responder, Leave No Trace Master Educator, whitewater raft guide, and American Avalanche Association member, she has an M.S. in Outdoor and Environmental Education and is a member of the American Alpine Club. Her writing has been published in Outside, Trail Runner, Verticulture, Powder Magazine, and O.A.R.S. Blog.
