Lamar Underwood is the former editor-in-chief of Sports Afield and Outdoor Life magazines. He is author of the novel On Dangerous Ground and is editor of several anthologies for Lyons Press. These include The Greatest Fishing Stories Ever Told, The Greatest Adventure Stories Ever Told, War Stories, and many others. He lives in Pennington, New Jersey.
