Greg Boos is a US immigration lawyer with over forty years' experience. He is the founder of Cascadia Cross-Border Law. He is also an adjunct professor and external adviser to the Border Policy Research Institute at Western Washington University. Greg gained international recognition for the discovery of a provision in the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 that would have gutted travel by Canadians to the US, and for spearheading the multi-year fight that resulted in Congress repealing the provision. Greg Boos assembled the team of lawyers that represented Bob Boule in the US Supreme Court case of Egbert v. Boule. He remains active in advocating for better borders, engaging in campaigns for changes in government policy that chill cross-border travel and trade. He lives in Bellingham, Washington.
