Victoria E. Rinehart, an Associate Professor Emeritus at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica/Rome, New York had a 15-year tenure on the nursing faculty. A native of Rome, New York, Dr. Rinehart honed her skills as a staff nurse in critical care and public health nursing, while also holding administrative positions in hospital Staff Development. Her diverse nursing experience also included various roles at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Dr. Rinehart received her doctoral degree in Nursing Administration and Nursing Education from Columbia University. She has been Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Nursing Administration, Advanced. Dr. Rinehart has been bestowed with numerous accolades. However, the most profound recognition came in the form of the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, bestowed upon her by the esteemed State University of New York. This award was a testament to her exceptional teaching abilities and her significant contributions to enhancing the quality of instruction within the institution. In addition to this prestigious honor, Dr. Rinehart was also honored with the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Alumni Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession and Community. Currently, Dr. Rinehart and her husband, Warren, a retired orthopedic surgeon, reside in the charming town of Shelburne, Vermont.
