Mary Jane Haemig is professor of church history emerita at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She received her ThD from Harvard Divinity School in 1996. She taught at Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Washington, from 1994 to 1999 and at Luther Seminary, Saint Paul, from 1999 to 2018. She focuses on the study of the Lutheran Reformation. She is the editor of The Annotated Luther volume 4, Pastoral Writings (2016), and an associate editor of the Dictionary of Luther and the Lutheran Traditions (2017). She resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Ken Sundet Jones and Mark C. Mattes are Professors of Religion and Philosophy at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. Martin J. Lohrmann is associate professor of Lutheran Confessions and Heritage at Wartburg Theological Seminary, where he teaches courses on history and missiology, Lutheran theology, and global Christianity. He is the author of Book of Harmony: Spirit and Service in the Lutheran Confessions (Fortress, 2016) and the translator of The Early Luther: Stages in a Reformation Reorientation by Berndt Hamm. Derek Nelson is associate professor of religion at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and director of the Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program. Kirsi I. Stjerna is First Lutheran, Los Angeles/Southwest California Synod Professor of Lutheran History and Theologyat Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary of California Lutheran University. A docent at the University of Helsinki, she is author or editor of eight books, including Women and the Reformation (2008) and Martin Luther, the Bible, and the Jewish People, with Brooks Schramm (Fortress Press, 2012). Timothy J. Wengert is emeritus professor of church history at the United Lutheran Seminary. A parish pastor for seven years in Minnesota and Wisconsin with a doctorate from Duke University, he taught on Philadelphia's faculty from 1989 to 2013. He has written extensively on the Reformation, was coeditor of the English edition of The Book of Concord (Fortress, 2000) and translated Luther's Small Catechism, used throughout the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In addition to books on Philip Melanchthon and Martin Luther, he coauthored with Susan Wood a book on Lutheran/Roman Catholic relations, Shared Spiritual Journey (2016), and currently serves on the US Lutheran/Roman Catholic dialogue. He lives in Long Valley, New Jersey. Hans H. Wiersma is associate professor of religion at Augsburg University, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
