Ashok Banker is widely acknowledged for pioneering English-language genre fiction in India, having authored more than eighty books in various categories. As a neurodivergent (AuDHD) and nonbinary writer, they are passionate about inclusivity and representation. Their debut picture book, I Am Brown, won the Bank Street College Prize, made the Book Trust Great Books list, and was translated into several languages. They currently live with their family in southern California. Brittney Bond was born in sunny South Florida to a Jamaican family. She is currently based on the East Coast. A self-taught artist, she works primarily digitally with a passion for using appealing color palettes, intriguing lighting, and a magical and positive aura throughout her illustrations.
