Callie Dean is a researcher, writer, and musician who lives in Shreveport, Louisiana, with her husband and three sons. She loves creating stories that spark curiosity and encourage kids to explore their world. Callie is a violinist with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, an editorial assistant at Literary Mama, and a member of the STEM Tuesday team at From the Mixed-Up Files blog. Callie serves as the director of applied research at the LSUS Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research. Ana Latese is a children's book illustrator whose vibrant, magical imagery celebrates joy and representation. Inspired by light and storytelling, Ana aims to create worlds where a diverse array of children feel seen, valued, and validated. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
