Barry Fearnley is a social worker with over twenty years' experience working with children and families. He is currently working for a university as a Coach - Child and Adult Workforce. Previous experience includes Head of Partnerships Social Work and Social Care, senior lecturer and a children and families social worker. He has been a practice educator for social work students in both children and families and adult services. He has supported newly qualified social workers undertaking their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and social workers in their continual professional development. His PhD explored the everyday experiences of young women who are also mothers.
