Jim Mackin is a New York City historian whose interests include Harlem history, music, architecture, and industrial heritage. He has lectured widely and for more than twenty years led popular walking tours of metropolitan New York. He is the author of Notable New Yorkers of Manhattan's Upper West Side: Bloomingdale and Morningside Heights (Fordham).
