Professor Francesca Trusso teaches English Linguistics and Semiotics at the University of Rome, Italy. Her research interests include cognitive and anthropological linguistics, and pragmatics. She is the author of numerous articles that focus on topics ranging from verbal and non-verbal communication to language acquisition, bilingualism and multilingualism. Her publications include Spinning In and Out of Language (2001) and Words Weaving Wonder: Principles of Semiosis in Shelley, G.M. Hopkins and Dylan Thomas.
