"Because Porter has been so prolific in his own academic life, he offers his experiences and views for the benefit of graduate students, junior professors, and even those with more experience who wish to re-engage their scholarly writing apparatuses. ... I applaud Porter's efforts at demystifying and demythologizing the publishing act." -- Journal of Scholarly Publishing (2011, 42:2) President Porter is a natural choice to author a guide such as this. His academic output includes authoring close to a dozen titles, publishing over 160 journal articles and book chapters on literature and theology. -- John Rodzvilla -- Publishing Research Quarterly
