Description

After graduating law school, Alan M. Weinberger spent a dozen years in private practice in Washington, D.C., and Detroit, representing institutional lenders, real estate developers, commercial landlords and foreign investors. In addition to his scholarship and teaching duties, Weinberger has previously served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and as Associate Dean for Faculty. Weinberger has been a visiting professor at Washington University School of Law, University of Iowa College of Law, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the University of Osnabrueck, Germany and Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany.

I commend Professor Alan Weinberger for his insightful and stimulating book focusing on the backstories of several prominent cases. By providing unique case studies of several well-known decisions, the book serves as a valuable addition to the jurisprudential literature. Kudos to Professor Weinberger for authoring this entertaining and thought-provoking book.--Marc I. Steinberg
