Ben Pinnington is the founder of the international public relations firm Polaris Media. He works with maritime businesses worldwide, including shipbuilders, ports, vessel operators, classification societies, equipment makers, seafarer charities, and trade bodies. Ben is a trained newspaper reporter, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), Vice President of the Chicago Propeller Club, and Vice President for the Great Lakes region for the International Propeller Club. Under his leadership, Polaris has won a number of awards, including the CIPR Silver Award and the Global Performance Award (2022), and Professional Services Business of the Year (2020) at the Mersey Maritime Awards.
