Ned Dennys Unearthly Toys are treacherous playthings, as rigorously structured as they are thematically unsettling, a rhapsody of rags gathered from several dung-hills, excrements of authors, toys and fopperies confusedly tumbled about (as Robert Burton dubbed his Anatomy of Melancholy).
