Rough Guides are written by expert authors who are passionate about both writing and travel. They have detailed knowledge of the areas they write about--having either traveled extensively or lived there--and their expertise shines through on every page. It's priceless information, delivered with wit and insight, providing the down-to-earth, honest read that is the hallmark of Rough Guides. Marc Di Duca has been a travel guide author for the past two decades and has covered destinations as diverse as Siberia and the Caribbean for all major travel publishers. When not on the road, he lives near Marianske Lazne in the Czech Republic with his wife and two sons. Owen Morton is based in North Yorkshire and has written or contributed to numerous Rough Guides, ranging from Pembrokeshire to the Philippines, including The Rough Guide to Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan (home to his favourite animal, the wonderfully expressive and permanently curious manul). When not exploring the world, he entertains himself by writing a blog about 1980s cartoons. Ben O'Donnell grew up in Florida and spent most of his career as a magazine writer and editor in New York City. More recently, he has contributed to outlets such as National Geographic Traveller and Archaeology Magazine as a freelance journalist and photographer. He is based in Tirana or near the beach (most any will do). Find him on Instagram at @odonnalbania.
